The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of Ashburton Community Centre Inc.

We are seeking a copy writer to help us improve our promotion of the range of activities and classes that we offer to the local community. The Ashburton Community Centre runs a range of activities, classes and courses for the local community.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Talking with instructors and tutors to understand what their classes and courses entail
• Visiting and sitting in on classes to experience how different classes run
• Write class descriptors and blurbs to be used for
• Print media e.g. brochures and fliers
• Social media
• Website
• Poster based promotional material

Skills and Experience:

• Basic computer skills e.g. Word, Excel
• Copy writing
• Warm friendly manner – happy to talk with people
• A “can do” approach
