The Australian Aphasia Association provides national advocacy support for people with acquired brain injury with language impairment, a communication disability known as APHASIA. The Promotional Committee is one of a number of committees that provide essential support to the association. This committee consists of volunteers around Australia who are interested in supporting the aphasia community. This position may suit someone who is in a graduate graphic designer role, or current professional with skills in marketing and developing campaign material. We are recruiting for digital marketing skills.
Essential Criteria
- Well-developed written and verbal skills
- Proactive, organised and reliable
- High computer literacy skills and access to a computer
- Strong sense of design and creativity
- Sound knowledge of promotional marketing via social media platforms
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a small team or autonomously as necessary
Desirable Criteria
- Experience promoting events, graphic design, or project marketing
- Experience in a range of Adobe Creative Suite programs
Your Role
As a promotional committee member you will have the opportunity to:
- Lead promotional campaigns
- Contribute to the planning and design of campaign material
- Collaborate with local community members and aphasia support groups
- Raise awareness of aphasia across Australia
