Volunteer Social Media Coordinator

We are looking for a social media superstar. Someone with a passion for helping others, an understanding of homelessness or a strong desire to learn who can use their knowledge, skills and networks to propel our brand forward.

We are a inner city not for profit serving 50,000 meals a year to those living on the streets. We are currently going through a brand review and looking to engage a Volunteer Social Media Coordinator who can take the reigns, develop a social media strategy and execute it.

Reporting to the Community Manager, you will gain experience working in a diverse community agency, with the flexibility of working remotely or in our offices.

Duties:

  • Assisting the Community Manager with the development of the social media strategy
  • Content creation on social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, , YouTube, LinkedIn inline with strategy
  • Monitoring of social media accounts
  • Monthly reporting

Skills: Highly organised with strong time management skills

  • High level of attention to detail
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience using social media channels
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong content creation skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Intermediate Adobe Creative Suite skills (desirable)
  • Ability to put forward new ideas and suggestions
