Multiple Sclerosis is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program – the Community Visitors Scheme (CVS).  Volunteer visitors share stories, go for a stroll or have a cuppa, listen to music or play a game. Our volunteers play a vital role in the life of a person living in an aged care home or their own home through ongoing friendship.

We have a 94 year old lady in an aged care facility in Yarraville who would love the company of a new female**friend** for one on one chats over a cuppa to read magazines or the newspaper preferably in the later afternoon

You need to be warm, caring, reliable and be willing to commit to at least fortnightly visits for a minimum of 12 months.

Good English communication skills required however volunteers with other languages willing to be matched to same language very welcome.
