The conference theme is: Sharing the knowledge to ACT: Accessibility. Communication. Technology. "Now is your time to ACT!" In keeping with this theme, we aim to showcase research, experiences and best practices that are shaping the world for those who are deafblind. All Volunteers will receive: Training prior to the conference starting A roster so you know when you’re scheduled to volunteer and where A full briefing as to what need to be done on the day/s you are volunteering Able/DBI t-shirts that clearly identify you as a conference volunteer Free meals (morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea) on the days you are volunteering The opportunity to meet members of the dynamic and vibrant international deafblind community You can volunteer for the whole conference or select days of the conference. Please discuss with the coordinator your preferred times and if you have any Auslan experience. You will be required to attend info sessions and a Security check will be obtained, you will need to provide the 100 points of information for this.
