The purpose of the Admin and Client Database role is to create a confidential, thorough record of our clients, volunteers and business partnerships of the Sanctuary Aus community, enabling the organisation to easily identify and respond to the needs of our clients. As the primary goal of Sanctuary Aus is to build safer communities around children, this information will be pivotal in managing communication and inclusiveness throughout the Sanctuary community.

The Admin and Client Database role will be responsible for the input of each client and volunteer involved in the Sanctuary Australia community, according to their role or purpose for involvement with Sanctuary Aus.

Depending on the capacity of the Admin worker, this role may take between a few hours to one day per week, however, the work hours can be undertaken flexibly. For example, during or outside business hours, in blocks of time or in regular scheduled shifts. After an initial teaching period, the volunteer might choose to work at our office or at their home, or a combination of the two.

Sanctuary Aus Limited is a not for profit community owned and operated organisation for children, young people and families in the Canberra region. Sanctuary Aus responds to community needs within a safe and welcoming environment through our focus areas that provide a flexible range of activities, supports and information.
