This position will be the first point of contact for the general public, and welcome people to the Center. You will help to inform interested older people and educate the general public about Mathers House, activities in Mathers Place and promote positive ageing. you will

• Meet and Greet people as they come in
• Promote the concept of Mathers House as an Information Hub
• Provide assistance in accessing information via the internet
• Provide assistance in form filling
• Direct people to reputable information sources online
• Share information about the Centre including the menu, daily activities, signing up for our newsletter
• Inform people about the Centre
• Offer direction to activities or meetings on in the area
• Share information about and promote upcoming events
• Seek and maintain, information of interest to the community. Order pamphlets and booklets as required. Maintain supplies. Seek out information as gaps appear.
  Throw out out of date information.
