This is a fantastic opportunity for people to join our passionate team of volunteers to support vulnerable people through our Emergency Relief program in Tasmania.

Emergency Relief - Van drivers assist with the packing and distribution of food across our sites and maintaining a safe work environment.

We're looking for motivated people committed to supporting and improving the lives of vulnerable people in the community. If you are good communicator with good interpersonal skills and have regular ongoing availability and has a positive can-do attitude, we would like to hear from you. You will be required to lift and transport boxes of up to 15 kilos, additional safety equipment such as gloves and trolley's will be provided.

Knowledge and understanding of the factors impacting on the well being of individuals, families and communities and experience working with families from diverse cultural backgrounds is highly valued.

The Emergency Relief service has sites are located in Hobart, Kingston, Bridgewater, Glenorchy and Gagebrook.

About the program The Emergency Relief program contributes to addressing emergency situations that impact people living within our communities through the provision of food, assistance with material aid and support with a wide range of other client presenting issues which often lead to client referral to other community agencies.

The Emergency Relief service has sites at Hobart, Kingston, Bridgewater, Glenorchy and Gagebrook.
