Calling all sports and photography buffs! We need a team of people to take action shots at our games, around our club and at club functions. We have 3 teams that play most Saturdays between October and February - Under 19's, Women's and Men's. Our social functions are usually held on weekends every month or so. We don't mind if you're only available for one weekend or event, or can only shoot one team, we value any contribution.

Bring yourself and...

You'll need to have your own camera gear. For shooting action shots from the sidelines this means a fairly decent camera and lenses that can handle the distance, speed and sometimes low lighting conditions. You'll also need transport - our home ground games and events are held at Lightning Park in Noranda, but we travel between Rockingham and Craigie for our away games. You may already have a Working With Children Check, if not, we can help you organise one.

What you do matters because...

You'll be making a difference by helping us promote our club and sport through images. Why does this matter? Our club is all about family and community, and providing opportunities for people to participate and maybe find somewhere to belong. We are big on diversity, inclusion, mental health and fair play - your images will help us spread this message and make the opportunities we provide more accessible.

...but what do I get out of it?

Your photos will be visible on our website, facebook and instagram accounts. We'll also try to promote your images in local newspapers and community publications. You'll be part of our club family where we hope you'll enjoy our social events and  meet some like-minded friends. We'll even show you the ins-and-outs of our sport, and you may end up getting hooked watching NFL or College football like the rest of us!

Sounds good...

Have a look at our website and socials to get an idea of what we are all about. If you're on the fence, have questions, or are ready to start, email us! A calendar of our events and games is also available on our website.
