As you visit and spend time with people who are living with dementia, you'll be pampering them by providing a gentle hand massage or nail care, such as filing or nail polish (no cutting). You'll love this opportunity to talk to people and listen to their stories.

Ideally you'll be able to visit one hour each week during the week for 12 months or longer. We would be delighted to talk with you about a suitable day and time (between Monday to Friday).

Volunteering at HammondCare is a great experience for you, and a great way to make a difference for people in need. You’ll find that as you meet new people and make new friends, you’ll gain personal satisfaction and have fun. We'll training as well as ongoing support from our onsite Volunteer Coordinator.

Successful applicants will need to complete a criminal record check as well as the NDIS Worker Screening Check. You'll also need to provide proof of your flu vaccination - or be willing to have the flu vaccination prior to your start.
