Responsibilities:

• Working collaboratively with the YP NT President to lead, manage, coordinate and enhance the impact of the NT YP team;
• Building relationships and managing diverse stakeholders of varying levels of experience, age and background;
• Managing internal communications within the NT YP team;
• Facilitating collaboration and knowledge sharing across YP teams within the Network;
• Filling in for NT President when needed;
• Attendance at all committee meetings.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Exceptional leadership attributes;
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication and organisational skills;
• Experience managing stakeholders;
• Experience working or volunteering in the international development / humanitarian / social justice community (ideal, but not essential);
• An understanding of the UN goals, ideals and mission;
• A commitment to furthering positive social change in the community to advance goals of the UN;
• Time to volunteer.
