This Organisation is seeking a volunteer to assist the Community Support Worker to provide quality frontline help to vulnerable guests to ensure all aspects of their wellbeing is addressed and working with the Intake Worker to access internal and external services as required.

The volunteer will assist to establish guest facing services to promote community atmosphere onsite and service locations.  Volunteers may be required to complete a range of tasks under the supervision of the Human Services Manager or Community Support Worker.  These duties may include facilitating activities in the community space, outreach and food van support or monitoring Social Health and Wellbeing Care Room as well as referring guests to appropriate services.

Typically tasks include:

• Greeting income guests
• Providing information regarding Socal Health and Wellbeing support services
• Updating client details
• Forwarding calls and email to appropriate staff
• Providing personal care items and/or take-away meals to guests.

Good English literacy and oracy required.  Minimum age is 18 years.
