Brotherhood of St. Laurence
Logo for Brotherhood of St. Laurence

LOCATION: 192–194 Torquay Rd, Grovedale. HOURS: 15 hours a week, Mon-Sat

Summary of program and its objectives

Our social enterprises raise independent income that is critical for supporting our work to help individuals and families experiencing disadvantage to build better lives. Our community stores across greater Melbourne sell quality second-hand goods at affordable prices. The Brotherhood of St Laurence now operates 20 stores across Greater Melbourne and their success relies on the passionate and dedicated team of staff, more than 700 volunteers and the generous donations received for the communities in which we work.

An exciting opportunity has emerged within the Grovedale Store to help with tagging and testing the electrical items that are then sold in the store. All items must pass the test before being put on the sale floor and we recycle the items that fail.

We are looking for someone with a good understanding of electrical products, however you do not need to be a qualified electrician. As part of this role you will be required to complete a Test & Tag course.

To learn more, read the Tester & Tagger role description or phone Volunteer Services on 03 9483 1390.

To apply: email us your resume and completed screening questionnaire to volunteer email.

You can not apply for this role as it is no longer available.
