Do you want to volunteer and help to run a nationally recognised Cancer Council event?!

You will be involved in the running of the Frankston & Peninsula Relay For Life.

Relay For Life is an overnight, community-based event that aims to raise money for cancer research, support and prevention services of Cancer Council Victoria, as well as raise awareness of cancer issues in the local community. The Frankston & Peninsula Relay For Life will be taking place on September 21st – 22nd 2019 at Ballam Park Athletics Track.

This is an opportunity to help shape and mould an event success for years to come! You will be guided by our Volunteer Coordinator in assisting with a range of tasks including:

• Event set up/pack down

• Assisting teams to/from their campsites and with set up

• Team registration and merchandise sales

• Communicating important information to teams throughout the Relay

• Other ad hoc tasks

It is extremely satisfying, motivating and uplifting work and most of all we are working towards one goal – a cancer free world!

Volunteers also receive a "Thank you" letter of appreciation for their important help and event staff can sign off any volunteer hours required. Volunteer coordinator is also happy to provide job references.

You can not apply for this role as it is no longer available.
