Vision Australia is a large national provider of services for people who are blind or have low vision.  Our Caringbah centre is seeking a volunteer to assist with our monthly Walking Group.  You will meet and greet clients at the starting point of the walk to ensure they are welcomed and provide sighted guide to participants, if required. You will also assist clients to purchase food and drinks, if required and arrange transport (e.g. taxis) home. Our volunteers ensure the walks are conducted in a safe manner, and report any concerns to the designated Vision Australia staff member whilst supporting and encouraging ongoing participation by group members.
