INCH is a community housing service who provides people on low incomes with very high and high needs, affordable and safe housing. We assist people with disabilities, people with mental health, young people, people over 55, and people exiting homelessness.

We are seeking collection volunteers who can assist our Charity work by collecting cans and bottles with staff and/or other volunteers as a fundraiser to support INCH in providing housing services to those in high housing need.

Collection volunteers will be part of small teams working in the office and the field. Our collection service operates 2 days per week at present

The role of the collection Volunteers is

• delivering flyers and bags to people's homes and businesses, as required

• collecting cans and bottles and putting into the trailer

• delivering collected cans and bottles to local recycle centers

• data recording of collection

Collection volunteers will work with staff and other volunteers

Protection equipment and training is provided
