This volunteer role requires calm, friendly, supportive volunteers who do not judge others but are willing and able to help people from all walks of life. Experience with customer service, ability to use a computer and happy to be trained in MYOB retail, prepared and able to lift approx. 10 kilo bag of potatoes, happy to stock shelves, serve customers and is a confident and able driver with C Class licence to take the wheel of the mobile truck if the need arises.
All volunteers must have or be willing to obtain a Police Clearance working with children and vulnerable groups. We can assist in this process at no cost.
Please Note: As each organisation provides different levels/types of insurance, volunteers are reminded to check with the organisation as to the type of insurance provided for volunteers (e.g. Volunteer Personal Accident Insurance)

Volunteers are required for regular full day Mobile Food Hub runs to numerous locations such as Barossa, Victor Harbor, Murray Bridge, Port Adelaide for example. Our Mobile Food Hub will reach people that can not access one of our regular food hubs. If you can commit to 6 months or more one day per week we would love to hear from you. This volunteer role will be a buddy to the drivers and would be helpful if confident to take the wheel of our mobile hub if the need arises.
