The role of Treasurer will lead the overall financial governance of ONE IN FIVE to protect the financial integrity of our fundraising and grant management activities.

Key Responsibilities 

• Partner with ONE IN FIVE’s appointed Accountant to ensure all ATO and ACNC requirements are met. 
• Provide regular financial reporting for the Board and relevant stakeholders.
• Provide financial guidance to the Board with regards to investment decisions, funding grants, and maintaining our financial integrity. 
• Chair of the Finance Committee and owner of the finance committee charter
• Maintain Risk Register as required.
• Provide financial advice with regards to ONE IN FIVEs DGR status as required.
• Own relationship with Bendigo Bank and all banking related activities as required.
• Owner of all transactional financial management as required (e.g. cashflow, bill payments etc).

Mandatories

• Tertiary qualifications in finance.
• Member of a professional body.
• Experience working with senior management and non-executive directors.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills including experience.
• High attention to detail.
• Strong time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
