The volunteer will provide carpentry projects to the She Shed project participants and other volunteers to develop and learn basic carpentry, joinery, painting and finishing skills. The She Shed participants will be given the opportunity to bring carpentry projects from home as well as create new projects. The volunteer will also utilise their skills and experience to source group resources and facilitate group activities

Tasks and desired results:

• Provide Leadership in group facilitation on woodwork and trade projects
• Train participants on OHS principles specialising in carpentry and joinery
• Train participants on basic carpentry, joinery, painting and finishing skills
• Supervise all carpentry projects while at the shed
• Together with the Men shed Team Leader acquire resources for projects
