The Red Shield Appeal is one of the easiest ways to help Australians doing it tough. When you volunteer, you help raise vital funds for the running of The Salvation Army’s vast network of social services. This includes providing shelter for the homeless, assisting families in crisis through practical support and financial counselling, and guiding people with addictions through to a clean, healthy lifestyle. We can't do this without your help!

We are looking for friendly people from the Caloundra and Sunshine Coast area to volunteer approximately 2 hours, in a variety of roles.

The roles available on the Sunshine Coast include (but not limited too): Administrative Support, Community Collector, BBQ Helper, and Doorknock Team Leader. Dates and shift details are dependent on the location and available activity. Most activities take place between 20th May to the 2nd of June 2019

What’s involved?

1. You can volunteer on your own or bring along a friend or two

3. Once registered, your local coordinator will be in touch to confirm details, answer questions and provide further information.

This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside others as you raise funds, making a real and positive difference to those experiencing homelessness, addiction and crisis through the support and services of The Salvation Army.
