Multiple Sclerosis is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program – the Community Visitors Scheme (CVS).  Volunteer visitors share stories, go for a stroll or have a cuppa, listen to music or play a game. Our volunteers play a vital role in the life of a Would you like to visit an older person in an Aged Care Home or their own home and make a real difference in their life?

We have a lovely and  delightful lady  in Sale East Gippsland who would benefit from your friendship. She is vision  impaired and would enjoy someone to read to her, jigsaws , crosswords and cuppa/chats. Person living in an aged care home or their own home through ongoing friendship.

You need to be warm, caring, reliable and be willing to commit to at least fortnightly visits for a minimum of 12 months.

Good English communication skills required however volunteers with other languages willing to be matched to same language very welcome.
