Save the Children is looking for people who know how to sew. We are aiming to sew bags made from jeans, rags from unusable clothing and much much more. We provide the sewing machines, cotton and all the materials, good friends and a Team of like minded people. Ideally you would be available to volunteer one 4 hour shift a week, either in the morning or afternoon or a full lday. No special skills are needed, just your willingness to learn as we’ll show you what to do and we provide all the training you’ll need. But if you have any experience or particular interest tell us, it may come in useful. It’s really easy to get your volunteering started.
