The programRed Cross provides services to many members of the community in a variety of programs that supports vulnerable people in Australia and around the world. The Red Cross office in Coffs Harbour delivers some of these programs in the region that promotes social cohesion and inclusiveness within the ex-refugee community.

The opportunityThis role suits someone over the age of 18 who enjoys gardening and outdoor work, is handy at fixing things, good with cars and can commit to one day per week. You will enhance your natural maintenance abilities and gain valuable experience in outdoor duties and vehicle maintenance.

The impact As a general Garden and Maintenance Volunteer you will contribute to the well being of staff and clients by providing well kept gardens and playground equipment and clean, well maintained staff vehicles. This enables staff to focus on program delivery in a well maintained environment. Red Cross will ensure you have training, ongoing support and access to other opportunities within the World’s largest humanitarian network.
