Group Facilitator
Aphasia (Formerly Communicate WA)People who are friendly and supportive of people with communication difficulties will find this role really rewarding. You will be there to help them chat socially, so need to be a good listener, can make a cup of tea and have a laugh too. This position will involve being a facilitator of the group, so confidence, the ability to be directive and having an engaging manner will be a great help. You will be provided with training about the role and will have another volunteer with you. Communicate WA want to support people in the community by providing opportunities for them to communicate and also to raise awareness about aphasia.
