YOUR NEW FAMILY: Orange Sky Australia, founded in 2014 by friends Lucas Patchett and Nicholas Marchesi, is a not-for-profit organisation providing free mobile laundry and shower services to people experiencing homelessness. Through a network of 28 vans and 1300+ amazing volunteers, our services are now positively connecting communities all around Australia.

We are currently looking for applicants for the role of Social Impact Washing ASM in Canberra who can help us continue to change the lives of our friends on the street every day!

YOUR NEW ROLE: The person selected for this role will manage a new & small team of volunteers and ensure the Social Impact Washing shift runs smoothly each week and all volunteers have the tools and resources they need to help our friends on the street. You might assist the service by: • Ensure volunteers are rostered each week • Train volunteers and friends on Social Impact Washing processes • Manage incidents relating to shift with management team • Participate on shifts initially until other volunteers are in place/fill in as required • Assist in maintaining positive relationships with Social Impact Washing customers • Adhoc tasks as directed

Requirements: We are looking for candidates who have up to 5-10 hours per week to commit to Orange Sky. To be successful, you will be smart with technology, very organised and great with people and have a genuine passion for helping others. First-aid qualification or willing to obtain one (costs covered by OSA).
