Open Support is seeking volunteers to join their Guest Services team at Chisholm Cottage, Westmead.

As a Guest Services Volunteer you will be assisting with the day to day operation of a facility that provides low cost, short term accommodation in Sydney, for regional and rural clients requiring accommodation for medical purposes.

About The Role (may include, but not be limited to):

• Work closely with the Accommodation Manager to ensure the service is operating efficiently, effectively and safely
• Ensure rooms are ready and made up for incoming guests
• Ensure that common areas are tidy, clean and well-presented
• Laundry duties - washing, hanging, drying, folding and ironing
• Reservation activities (booking and allocating rooms)
• Meet and greet guests on arrival
• Check in /check out procedures
• General office support; answering phones, messages etc.

About You:

• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication
• Basic computer skills
• Reliability and an ongoing commitment to role
• First Aid Certificate or willingness to work towards same
