Dampier Seafarers Centre is a part of Mission to Seafarers International which has operations in over 200 ports in 50 countries caring for Seafarers. It is in connection to this global network of chaplains, staff and volunteers we offer support to Seafarers. We seek to help Seafarers with their needs and assist with issues such as communication, fatigue, mental health, abandonment, piracy and shipwreck.

Locally, Dampier Seafarers provides a free daily transport service for Seafarers wishing to undertake shore-time at the Dampier Seafarers Drop-In Centre. Volunteers with a C Class or LR Licence (automatic or manual licence) are required for transport driving between 5pm and 9pm every day of the week. Shifts are dependant upon volunteer availability.
