The Community Visitors Scheme (CVS) is funded by the Australian government and plays a vital role in providing companionship for older people living in a Government Funded Aged Care Facility or living in their own homes and receiving a Home Care Package. Migrant Resource Centre Tasmania (MRC Tas) is funded to deliver this free service to culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds consumers living in their own homes and receiving a Home Care Package.

Ability to speak a language other than English may be beneficial but not essential. Use of own vehicle (with reimbursement for mileage).
