The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of BASScare.

Are you available Friday mornings from the 8th February 2019?  This is an opportunity to have fun with multi-sensory activities designed to encourage positive interactions between generations.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Assisting with room set up
• Greeting/welcoming and marking attendance for: families, children and older adults attending our Canterbury Centre
• Helping participants throughout the music therapist lead program (run in term 1 & 2 of 2019)
• Have fun with multi-sensory activities designed to encourage positive interactions between generations
• Serving tea/coffee and cordial
• Pack up of the room

Skills and Experience:

• Enjoy social interactions with people of all ages including elderly and 1 to 4 year old children
• Interest in: music and or teaching skills preferred but not essential
