Volunteers will drive their own car to an allocated client within 15km of your home, on a weekday morning or afternoon. You will deliver a book, have a chat about reading, their pet, their family, anything that engages them and maybe make a cup of tea. This will suit retired, semi-retired, part-time employed, uni students, anyone with a couple of hours spare a week to make a difference to someone else's life. Our volunteers say they find their role very rewarding and have met some very interesting people they otherwise would not have engaged with. Contact us for a role outline and an application form.
