Southcare are looking for caring volunteers who enjoy driving and meeting people and able to commit to driving on the same day each week - Tuesdays to Fridays or can be "on Call" for when our regular drivers are away.

Shifts depend on our clients’ requirements, often starting about 8.00am. Most drivers will be required to transport Southcare senior customers to appointments in the Perth metro area. This may be to medical appointments, shopping, and other appointments. Drivers need to be able to assist with mobility aids in and out of a boot, assist customers alight in and out of the vehicle and help with shopping bags.

A Southcare pool car is available from Head office and is provided for use on each occasion. A Police Certificate that meets the requirements of the Aged Care Act will be required and is arranged and paid for by Southcare. Orientation and training provided.
