HEALTH AND WELLBEING ASSISTANT
Liverpool Volunteer Resource CentreVolunteers are needed to assist with leisure activities for adults (18 to 65 years) with an intellectual disability.
About The Role:
- Assisting Customers participate in a mainstream Aqua Aerobics Class and/or Gym Program
- Volunteers assist customers achieve their physical goals, as well as encourage their social and emotional development, and above all have fun!
- Aqua Aerobics are held on the first and last Wednesdays of the month
- Transport provided from Cumberland Council at 4.30pm, or meet at Swim Centre at Lidcombe at 5.45pm until 7.15pm
- Pool Entry and Aqua Class Costs are covered for all Volunteers
- Gym Sessions are held during the day on Fridays at a Mainstream Gym with support from a Qualified Personal Trainer
- Meeting Point and Times: Cumberland Council at 9.30am until 2pm
- Healthy meal cost covered for all Volunteers

- Commitment to work within the guidelines/legislation relevant to this position
- Commitment to maintain confidentiality
- Trustworthy, patient, reliable and willing to submit to criminal record checks
