The Caring Neighbourhood Program staff and volunteers support socially isolated people in the community. The program provides social opportunities that are based on compassion and friendship. A volunteer Van Driver (10 seater commuter van) and Host for Group Lunch is required on the third Sunday of each month from approximately 11am - 4pm to pick up clients and take them to various lunch venues from Goolwa to Victor Harbor and return them home. The driver will be supported by a Van Assistant who will assist clients in and out of vehicles and with any walking aids. Volunteers will work with other volunteers during the luncheon. Any out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed.
