Assisting visitors to access disabled toilets, sit in aircraft and any help needed during tours of the museum for families and groups. Set up school holiday & during school term activities with school children of all ages. Weather permitting walking with groups to the Parafield control tower observation platform.

Assisting customers with information re toilets, disabled access, general information re the museum. Making a cup of tea for elderly visitors. On the job training will be provided.

Visitors to the museum include school groups, families, clubs and senior citizens and there is plenty of opportunity for a chat.

Educating and entertaining our visitors is our mission at the museum and giving good friendly customer service is an important part of our mantra.

Answering the telephone as required. Looking after storeroom and keeping items in stock.

Suitable for people who are good with their hands and can do odd jobs. There is a lot of variety in this position Do not need extensive knowledge of aviation as training will be given about our collection.
