The role will include:

• liaise with a local secondary schools to identify and gather information about students needing assistance,
• collate and present information to the Committee for consideration,
• ensure requests are fulfilled and monies received by the school; and
• in conjunction with other committee members select students to receive the Judith Ireland Studentship.

You will need:

• a keen interest in improving the welfare of children and families who need assistance,
• moderate computer skills,
• confidence in engaging and liaising with local secondary school,
• current Police check,
• respect for the privacy and confidentiality of the requests; and
• availability to meet on the seconded Thursday of every month.

This is a very rewarding but not an onerous role.
