Survey Collectors - Westmead Hospital - # 9643
Western Sydney Local Health DistrictPharmacists play an important role in your hospital stay and discharge but patients aren’t always sure of what that role is. Understanding that role can help prevent medication errors and confusion. The aim is to help patients feel confident to seek out information from a pharmacist while in hospital and when leaving hospital.
Volunteers are sought to deliver a survey and show the patient a video. The video explains the services that are provided to patients by pharmacists in the hospital. Volunteers will then deliver another survey to the patient.
People who have various language skills are sought, so that more community members can be reached. As well as English, volunteers who speak Arabic, Mandarin and Cantonese are welcome.
Benefits:
- Improving the patient experience in hospital
- Interacting and helping your community
