About us The Southern Migrant and Refugee Centre (SMRC) is a not for profit organisation. SMRC was established in 1993 and is governed by an elected Board of Directors. The SMRC provides a range of community based services for migrants and refugees in the Southern Region of Melbourne.

About the opportunity To Provide participants with basic computer skills including how to use a mouse, navigate the Internet, send emails and learn general typing.

About you We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with people of diverse backgrounds. You must be proficient in the English language both written and oral and possess excellent computer skills.

Please note that volunteers must be over 18 years of age and will be required to undergo a police check (processed by the Organisation) and a Working with Children Check (processed by the Volunteer).
