A few hours a week is all it takes to brighten up someones day. The Men's Shed have clients attending who require additional support and encouragement to get the most out of the activities on offer. Could you be what they're looking for? The Men's Shed is purposely a bit of a 'blokey' environment and is a safe place for men to thrive and support each other. You will be confident and kind, you will enjoy working one to one with your client or in a small group. You must be willing to learn new skills, sometimes alongside your client and you must also be prepared, sometimes, to roll up your sleeves and get involved in the general activities of the Shed. A sense of humour is a must. Its highly important that you are willing to work with senior men who may be experiencing one or more of the following A disability Dementia

You will be encouraged to help develop the program and you will be a valued volunteer. Hours are to be arranged as per client need; the Shed is open between 8-4 Monday to Friday.
