The Anzac Day Parade Brisbane (ADPB) are seeking volunteers to assist in the organisation of the annual Anzac Day Parade in Brisbane CBD. Although the delivery emphasis is on 25th April each year, volunteers are also required to ensure this project is managed in the event runup. Volunteers can be focused on the event day challenge itself or ongoing engagement with the ADPB, stakeholder agencies and support bodies occurring from January to April in the planning and implementation cycle. Specific roles to be filled on a recurring basis include; Senior Parade Marshals & Assistant Marshals, Information Booth and Veteran Hosts, 40-50 Golf Buggy Driver & Passenger Loading Assistants. Without volunteers in these positions there would not be a fully functioning event to meet the standards set within the Major Events in Queensland guidelines issued by the State Government and provide an captivating event for the spectators, both live and over the ABC network.
