One day a week in the Wilderness Society Office.
Completion of the 2-day Community Organising Training.
Willingness to take direction and feedback.
Willingness to attend campaign events on weeknights or weekends. In particular, supporting the Community Organising Training if needed.

You don’t have to be an expert, however we are looking for someone who:
Has an in-depth understanding of graphic design software and theory, with demonstrated success. Particularly Adobe suite.
Has a basic understanding of photo and video composition. Comfortable with video editing software.
Enjoys spending time in nature, and cares about protecting the environment.
Has well-developed communication and time management skills.
Has an ability to follow processes with attention to detail.
Is flexible, enthusiastic, and demonstrates a willingness to learn.
Shows initiative, and the ability to work autonomously.
Values integrity and has a high level of professionalism.
Works well within a team environment and enjoys working with like-minded people.
Is flexible with their time.
Purpose of Position: Assisting our campaigns team and organisers to create content for online and offline promotions. You'll have the opportunity to help feed into campaign communications, develop your skills and be creative across a range of mediums. There's potential to work on a range of projects, from online media and content, to posters and even banners. Volunteers can also provide advice on messaging and use of communications vehicles in planning for campaigns.

While it's important to have some skills and experience, more than anything we're looking for people who share our values and also want build a society that respects and protects nature.
Key Functions: Create visual content for a range of different projects and campaign activities. Advise on messaging and use of communications vehicles in communications planning for campaigns. Analysing our marketing and communications strategies + investigate new ways for TWSWA to best achieve our purpose. Liaise with the National Communications Team when necessary for coordinated campaigns.
