Established in 2013, Mood Active is a small, not for profit association based in Sydney. We provide a tailored exercise programs to the support needs of our clients who can choose from a  casual program, 4 week wellbeing workout or more instense support 8 week 1:1 exercise coaching program.

Participants are typically referred to us by GP’s, psychologists and community organisations and to date, feedback has been very positive. We are currently expanding our operation into greater Sydney.

This role reports to the General Manager and would require approx 4 hours a week on average of your time, worked flexibly. Key responsibilities would include:

• Develop and delivering an annual Marketing and Events Plan, including quarterly action plan and reporting.
• Lead a small team of volunteers including Marketing Consultant/s including development, performance management.
• Work with HR Manager for recruitment of marketing volunteers
• Liaise with relevant contacts and internal stakeholders to ensure that relevant content is produced
• Report outcomes of marketing initiatives and provide recommendations to management and the committee on approaches that may contribute to improving the long term sustainability of Mood Active

Required:

• Successful track record and at least 5 years' experience in marketing
• Successful track record and at least 2 years' experience leading and motivating a team to achieve goals
• Experience in health or fitness industry, mental health, disabilities, not for profits etc
• Proactive and results driven
• Ability to work autonomously
• Strong planning and organising skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A desire to help people in the field of mental health

Preferred: Successful track record and demonstrated experience in Event Management and Event Marketing
