Sydney Dogs and Cats Home is Sydney's only charity pound that never places a time limit on any pet awaiting adoption. Receiving over 3000 lost and abandoned pets each year it is thanks to the support of our community that we can do our vital and life saving work.

The aim of Sydney Dogs and Cats Home is to ensure an animals' stay is as brief and enjoyable as possible while always showcasing the happy side of what we do. To do this we rely heavily on the photos and videos of our animals to help tell their story and show their individuality and personality which helps immensely in finding them new loving homes.

It is with this in mind that we are currently looking to grow our photography team. We are looking for volunteer photographers and videographers that can come to the shelter on a regular basis to take animals profile photos within our brand guidelines. We also need skill volunteers to assist with editing and re-touching the images so that they look amazing on social media.

You will need to provide your own camera and lighting (we have backdrops).

At Sydney Dogs and Cats Home we don't just receive dogs and cats into our facility, so it won't be uncommon to be asked for take a portrait of a goat, chicken, rabbit or rooster!

This opportunity is great for an animal lover who is also looking to refine their portrait photography skills. Business promotion and partnership opportunity is also available.
