We have a group of residents who are seeking some assistance to complete small mending projects, hemlines and or buttons, and various small sewing projects. Many individuals were adept with a needle & thread in years past and still enjoy a sewing circle today.

Some assistance may be required to thread needles and possibly help to direct a group project at times. The group would like to sew some curtains for a privacy screen and seek the support of a volunteer for this project.

Opportunities are weekly across several of our facilities. The time and day may be flexible based on volunteer and resident availability. An over locking sewing machine is available for use.
