The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of Balwyn Evergreen Centre.

Balwyn Evergreen Centre is a NFP offering programs and services to older people in and around Boroondara since 1958. We're a fun and welcoming community focused on ensuring our clients are happy, healthy and socially engaged.

Our transport service is critical for our clients to access our activities and programs. As a driver you get to be part of the action and make a genuine difference int he lives of older people.

If you're confident driving a minivan and happy to chat to our clients, please get in touch.

Available Shifts:

• Friday's ongoing (Driving clients in our Minivan)
• Various casual back up shifts to cover our volunteers on leave (both Car and Minivan)

Skills and requirements:

• Valid Australian car driving licence. (Note: no special licence required to drive minivan)
• Confidence driving a 12-seater minivan or a car
• Ability to assist seniors on and off the van (training provided)
• Must be patient and careful while driving
