A Volunteer opportunity is available with an Organisation that has over thirty years of experience in the delivery of disability, community, youth and children’s services within South Western Sydney. Playgroup is the ideal setting for children to learn through play, socialise and make new friends.

About The Role:

• Set and pack up of tables, chairs, toys
• Assisting with preparation and serving of food and snacks
• Cleaning of toys and equipment
• Time commitment is Wednesdays during school terms, from 9.30am-1.30pm
• Minimum 6 month commitment to role is preferred
• Site induction and role orientation provided
• Working With Children Check clearance essential

About You:

• Background in, or definite interest in entering, the early childhood development field
• Have a good rapport with children and an understanding of the importance of play for early development
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, punctual, a positive can-do attitude
• Ability to work effectively alone and as part of a team
• Supportive of the Organisation's mission and values
