About the Program:

The Wardli Youth Centre is a large youth centre in Christie Downs that needs someone to keep it in tip top shape. There are a variety of tasks each week that need completing and there will always be something to keep you busy.

Key Tasks:

• Outside maintenance of fallen leaves and debris.
• Cleaning and tidying of key areas within the centre
• Use of some power tools (leaf blower)
• Tasks as needed and directed by centre staff
• Support in the community garden

Skills/Knowledge/Personal Qualities:

• Be able to do physical work
• Be able to problem solve issues around the centre
• Be able to work independently with little or no direct supervision

Time Commitment:

Ideally minimum 1 day per week (Tuesday to Thursday)

Special Requirements:

• Department of Human Services (DHS) “Not Prohibited” Working with Children Check

• Attend Child Safe Environment training
