Would you like to enrich the life of an older person? Are you looking for a way to give back to your community? We are seeking volunteers to assist the Pastoral Care Services Team. Help us to support the sacramental, spiritual and emotional needs of our resident!

Pastoral Care offers spiritual and emotional support to individuals of all cultures, faiths and nationalities who access our services and their families. Our Pastoral Care Workers support our clients in times of pain, loss and anxiety, as well as triumphs and joys, always respecting confidentiality and privacy.

VMCH Pastoral Care Services is assisted by a dedicated group of volunteers who undertake activities such as sacramental support, visiting, driving, reading and recording material onto cassette for vision impaired people.

We are looking for volunteers to:

• Administering Holy Communion
• Help prepare the Chapel for mass
• Assist people to and from mass
• Help with administration tasks
• Folding and sorting of prayer booklets

If you are friendly, reliable, caring with a sense of humour and good listening skills, this could be the perfect role for you.

Excellent induction, training and ongoing support are provided by our friendly team.
