Wildlife Rescue Australia operates an unmanned Call Centre technically able to handle over one million calls per year. To facilitate the rescue of native animals, WRA has established a database of rescuers, carers and organisations who may be able to assist in a rescue.

The duties of the Database Manager are to: • administer the WRA database records • train, liaise, set tasks and oversee the Research Officer • monitor and action feedback from Phone Coordinators • liaise with the Secretary and other Board members • make suggestions that may improve operation of the database

The Database Manager is required to be available for 4 hours phone duty per week to take phone calls from members of the public or organisations requesting help with native animals in need,

This position would be excellent for people who want to develop and gain further administration experience and who want to put their current skills to use for a community organisation.
