We are looking for someone who is keen to help a small charity that has big goals, someone who is willing to learn and happy to work in a friendly, informal setting. Role will involve help with email correspondence, phone messages, updating the database and generally helping out in our little office.
Avalon is a very unique centre that aims to meet unmet needs in the community. These include the homeless; people who are disadvantaged; have a disability; have a mental illness and the list goes on. We have a Drop-in Day, a bus to take people on day trips and distribute clothing and bedding to the homeless and we also offer individual support whenever possible.
