Assist and direct incoming donations to the nominated sorting area;remove and change rubbish bales and whitebags;assist with furniture and furniture floor displays (where applicable),sweeping and general tidying of sorting area.

Benefits: Non-customer orientated position suitable to people with reserved nature, seeking a role which keeps them busy, but also provides a social outlet. Physical nature of role will ensure participants increase and maintain physical fitness and condition.

Training: Society orientation, manual handling (as per Society policy), forklift and bale press training (for applicable workers at Howarth St and West Gosford) and other on the job training.

Notes: Undertake a three month trial period, willing to learn, participate and work within a team environment. Physical capacity to use manual handling equipment and transport loads is essential.
